We had a great night "Crafting with Courtney" ! This is just the beginning of Courtney. She has graciously agreed to "craft" with us on a monthly basis. I am so looking forward to this! Courtney has wonderful ideas.

Where Has This Year Gone?

Can you believe it? 2010 is almost gone and 2011 is fast approaching! Another year almost gone. What have you done this year? What have you gone through? What has God brought you through? What are your blessings? What has God given you?

I know God has given me a wonderful church family. It is so neat to see the body of Christ working together. Here are just a few things I have seen:

* a care group praying specifically for each youth group kid and college student!

* people willing to make a meal for a celebration of a new family member or a death of a loved one, or a family in need.

* our body's patience with one another

* prayer for one another. I have been a recipient of this and I so greatly appreciate it!!!

* to have the desire to help out in any situation for anyone!

and guess what?

This is the body of believers I belong to! I can't begin to tell you what that means to me!

I thank God for that! This is something I don't take for granted. I am forever grateful!

RETREAT IS COMING, RETREAT IS COMING!!!!

Spring Retreat

Ladies!

Mark your calendars, if they aren't already, for our retreat!

April 30-May 1st will be our retreat at our church. We will be viewing the DVD retreat from Beth Moore. Stay tuned for more details!!

We want to let you know some of the activities that are coming up with Women's Ministries in the next couple of months. Get our your calendars and make a note!

Soon and very soon a new study will start in the Women's Sunday School class. If you are already involved in another class, that's great. We certainly don't want to pull you away. For others not knowing what's out there or where to go....this is for YOU!

The study will be on Genesis and will start in a couple of weeks....Jean Isaacson will be facilitating and we need YOU for participation!! 9:00-9:15 will be tea and muffin time with the lesson starting at 9:15! If you are interested, please contact Jean at: 815-303-4691 or Marlene at 303-2912!
